The day is April 18th, and I am pleased to announce that you can get one of my short sci-fi comedy stories for free.
But that’s not all, because it’s in a digital bookshelf filled with other people’s free stories. Here’s a brief glimpse at some of them (link at the bottom of this email).

This is the new format I’m going for for my short stories. White background, little splashes of colour as context clues for the stories themselves. I like it.
This story was first published in WHO BUILT THE HUMANS? and deserves to be reprinted. Not only is it a chapter in the much-loved ‘Wooden Robots’ universe inside that book, but it is a standalone short story, and the first story I performed an audiobook of on the radio. An excerpt of this story showed up on AllFM some years ago, and I am finally in a position where I can get to creating proper audiobooks. So, I felt it time to celebrate.
And what better way to celebrate a story than to expand its audience?
